2.Items that must be discussed: ( Math & ELA NWEA scores, NWEA growth goals, Comprehensive Benchmark data, Attendance)

Kindergarten-4th Grade will have Student-Led Conferences this school year.
One of the indicators of an effective school is the high incidence of parent-teacher conferences, which keep the parent abreast of a child's progress. It is district policy that a minimum of one conference is held before the end of the third quarter, and more for students who potentially could be retained. Parent-teacher conference days are scheduled in September and February. The purpose of these days is to provide time for teachers to conference with parents concerning the progress of their child and review the Student, Parent, and Teacher Contract. There will be other times when conferences will be held. Documentation of parent conferences scheduled and/or held is to be made.
This year, Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary will be holding Student-Led Conferences in both the Fall and Spring.
