SUPERVISOR EVALUATION
Supervising field personnel are evaluated according to:
The supervisors’ helpfulness, knowledge, attention to candidate’s needs, and participation in the planning, evaluation, and guidance activities with Mills College at Northeastern University School of Education, and the candidate.
Sources of information used as a basis of the evaluation will be:
The district representative assessment of the supervisors and the supervisor’s self- assessment; the supervised candidate; the Mills College at Northeastern University School of Education program supervisor; and assessment of the suitability of placement sites.
Field experiences are evaluated each semester. Written evaluations of both the candidate’s performance in the field, and the candidate’s view of the quality of the field site are given to the program director. Debriefing sessions are held at least once a semester to discuss problems, make suggestions, and to clear up issues of concern for current candidates.
