RME stands for Religious and Moral Education.
It's a core subject taught to S1-5, and it's all about helping you:
Learn about different religions and worldviews
Understand moral issues and how people make decisions about right and wrong
Think for yourself about big questions like What’s the purpose of life? or How should we treat others?
RME usually includes:
Learning about major world religions (like Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc.)
Discussing moral issues like fairness, kindness, equality, the environment, etc.
Reflecting on your own beliefs and values, whether they are religious or non-religious
It’s not about telling you what to believe—it’s about understanding others, thinking deeply, and developing your own ideas in a respectful way.
