RME

RME stands for Religious and Moral Education.

It's a core subject taught to S1-5, and it's all about helping you:

• Learn about different religions and worldviews
  
  

• Understand moral issues and how people make decisions about right and wrong
  
  

• Think for yourself about big questions like What’s the purpose of life? or How should we treat others?
  
  

RME usually includes:

• Learning about major world religions (like Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, etc.)
  
  

• Discussing moral issues like fairness, kindness, equality, the environment, etc.
  
  

• Reflecting on your own beliefs and values, whether they are religious or non-religious
  
  

It’s not about telling you what to believe—it’s about understanding others, thinking deeply, and developing your own ideas in a respectful way.
