Picasso Self portait
The face isnt a lot like me but im satisfied that i can do a picasso self portrait
Outlining of self portrait
I learnt to identify the different regions to outline
Carbon copy of outline
I need to press hard with a pen to let the carbon copy the portrait
Positive and negative spaces of self-portrait
I learnt to add more negative spaces to add a more define look to the portrait.
Blue stencil
It was very hot in the dark room and i had to do everything with minimal lighting. I am overall pleased with my blue stencil.
First print
At first the print wasnt very clear and i had to do it again. I needed to press and spread harder to let the ink seep through.
Second print
describe my progress: I had to have a friend to help me press down the frame so that the red ink can flow through.
I learnt that you need to spread the paint evenly for the paint to seep through. The red ink used is quite bold and eye capturing
Third print
describe my progress: This print was not really good but reflects the cool and gentle element.
Still needs to use more strength
Painting of self portrait with picasso face van gogh style
It was quite hard to show the different elements and strokes so i used different colors over the background.
Adding of skin color in the area of the spec frame
I realised i forgot to add the paint so i did.
Finishing painting (the eyes are painted)
I added black and white paint to paint the eyes to show more realistic eyes
Outline with marker on the painting final painting
I outlined the painting to bring out the bold element in it.

I see Vincent Van Gogh holding a palette with some brushes.
There is lines in the portraits and also cool colours such as blue. The texture of the painting is rough.
The background is plain but there are strong strokes of color like blue.
I think he positioned the palette in such a way that the painting might be his mirror or reflection.
I think that the artist is trying to portray his passion and love for art.
I think he may be feeling sad as blue is the main color in the background (unless the place where he painted this painting has a blue background).
I wonder how does he make the background stand out with strong but blended in colors.
I find the strong but blended colors in the painting is interesting.
I wonder why he added specific colors such as pink, yellow, blue on his palette.
I would like to add more colors to his background.
I wonder why he adds a palette in his portrait.
