Double-faced self portrait
(I could have coloured in the eyes and add more details)
Double-faced self portrait with hair
(I could have also added more details and make the hair nicrer)
Carbon copy of contour outlines
(I could have added more contour lines of the shadow)
Filling in the copy lines
(I could have make a shadow in the portrait like in the hair and around the shirt area)
Skin chart
(I could have tried out more skin tones towards the blue side)
Skin coloured paint on skin
(I could have tried more colours as the colours I painted on my skin did not match my skin colour perfectly)
Finalised painting
(I could have added more tones and make the skin tone lighter)
Blue screen of contour outline
(I could have make the silkscreen more smoother as many parts were uneven)
Black print
(There were some spots where it went through that was not supposed to so I can paint the sikscreen better next time)
Red print
(Same as the black print and take the photo further next time)

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PRINTMAKING (SILKSCREEN PRINTING) AND PAINTING? WHICH DO YOU PREFER AND WHY?
My Reflections:
When you do printmaking, you do not need to be very creative and think of what to do as you just need to follow the steps the teachers tell you to do however for painting, you have to be more creative and think of what you want to paint and mix the different colours to form the skin tone you want. For me, I prefer printmaking as I think that it is easier and I think that painting is very hard as it is very hard to get the skin colour tone that you want and paint it evenly.
HOW WOULD I LIKE TO IMPROVE MY WORK IF I WERE DO MY SILKSCREEN OR PAINTING AGAIN? PLS SPECIFY ONE TYPE.
My Reflections:
I would like to have more time to paint the painting as I could not really find a perfect tone and whenever we stop because we have to go to the next lesson and I leave the paint to dry, the next lesson, my paper becomes very thick full of the layers of paint that I put on it last lesson.
