What is striking to you about this artist's self-portrait?
What do you think the artist is trying to portray?
How do you think you can adapt this work into your self-portrait?
1) I see Vincent Van Gogh, the artist, in the middle with different shades of blue in the swirls surrounding Vincent Van Gogh.
2)The artist is trying to show how his facial expressions have become much calmer, although the artist felt his eyes have the same insecure look as before perhaps portraying how is feeling and how is feelings changed
3) I want to take inspiration from the swirls in the background which Vincent Van Gogh often uses in his art.
