WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN PRINTMAKING (SILKSCREEN PRINTING) AND PAINTING? WHICH DO YOU PREFER AND WHY?
My Reflections: I think the difference between print making and painting is that print making is easier and just needs to pour paint on our drawing which will make out the shape of our drawing. So print making mostly focuses on our drawing, as long as we draw good, our print making results will come out good while our painting focuses more on our painting skills as we need to paint nicely in order to make the outcome nice! I prefer print making as it is quite easy and I like the satisfaction and sense of achievement i feel whenever I lift up the board. Undeniably, I also like painting as it really learn how to test my patience and help me be more patient and learn how to never give up no matter how many difficulties I faced! Overall, both experiences let me learn something and no matter the outcome is good or bad, I will always feel proud of myself for not giving up!
HOW WOULD I LIKE TO IMPROVE MY WORK IF I WERE DO MY SILKSCREEN OR PAINTING AGAIN? PLS SPECIFY ONE TYPE.
My Reflections: I think I would like to improve more on my painting. Even though I didn’t give up, I think I can be more patient. I should paint more smoothly and make my paint streams more smooth instead of just letting my painting have rough streaks of paint. I hope I can do better in the next painting I have.
