01 drawing
I usually would shade a lot and draw very unclean line when I draw so it is a bit challenging for me to draw it with clean lines. I ended with a more cartoon-ish look.
02 tracing
I tried to get as many details in as I can but since the picture I used was more zoomed in, the shadows and details were a bit blur, but at last I still managed.
03 drawing
I made some mistakes when tracing but I tried my best to fix it
04 transparent sheet
05 silkscreens
The transparent sheet was not dark enough as I did not colour the parts properly with zebra marker so the lips and shirt did not come out properly
06 silkscreen redo
This time I learnt my lesson and I coloured the transparent sheet properly with zebra marker, also the time used to burn was reduced so the silkscreen came out perfectly
08 painting final
I spent a long time trying to find perfect colours for the flowers but it came out quite dark, which I guess was not as bad as I thought but I think it would be better if it was brighter
07 silkscreen printing successful
Although I put a bit too much ink and the shirt as some ink spilled but overall it is very nice

I see a woman's portrait
The woman have very thick and dark eyebrows that almost connect with each other and sharp features.
The woman has a straight face when there is a bunch of vines or brunches with thorns around her neck with a big black bird pendant hanging at the middle. She is bleeding from the thorns poking her neck.
There is a black monkey with a yellow belly on the left side of the women's shoulders with a big forehead and small features. It seems to be fidgeting with the vines.
There is a black cat on the woman's right shoulder and it is looking at the bird pendant.
The background consists of green leaves of different shades. There are two butterflies on the woman's head and two flying above the woman. The butterflies on the woman's head are fully white and they lie on a greyish purple object folded in the shape of a flipped number 8, or an infinity symbol. Its texture is like a macaroni pasta, with grooves on the side.
I think the sharp features and thick eyebrows shows the braveness or strength the woman has
I think that the fact that the woman kept a straight face when she is bleeding from a thorn necklace around her neck shows her ability to endure pain and that she does not let pain and suffering affect her.
I think the animals on her shoulder means that she does not see people that cause her harm as hostile because the monkey is the one tying the thorn necklace which caused her to bleed and the cat is climbing on her shoulder with claws, which should hurt but she still kept a straight face and show no emotions like fear, anger or hostility.
Since white butterflies symbolize purity, I think that the two butterflies on her head shows that she is pure and again, that she shows no hostility towards the animals.
I wonder why is the colour choice for the cat black and not any other possible colour
I wonder what inspired the author to draw this picture as it emphasizes the strength and endurance of the person in the portrait
I find the choice of animals interesting, as I don't know why she decides to choose those animals when there are many other choices
I wonder what is the black bird pendant for or what it represents
