P-Value
Interpreting a P-value
Low P-value (e.g., p < 0.05):
Indicates strong evidence against the null hypothesis, suggesting the observed pattern is likely not due to random chance. (proving your hypothesis correct)
High P-value (e.g., p > 0.05):
Suggests the results are more likely to have occurred by random chance, meaning there's insufficient evidence to reject the null hypothesis.
