Dr. Fellows' classes are extremely organized and straight-forward. Her lecture classes require a textbook that supplement the content from lecture slides.
There are weekly quizzes for each chapter, a midterm and a final, which are all manageable. The two lowest quiz get dropped. The best way to study is to review the lecture slides and PRACTICE problems from the textbook.
You will definitely be learning a lot in her classes and can always find her during office hours for additional support.
Dr. Closser's classes are all about group work. There is a lot of group assignments in the class as well as individual assignments and quizzes.
Dr. Closser wants students to learn from their mistakes. Her quizzes are often retakable and her exams questions are still passable if you only make a few mistakes.
Speak to Dr. Closser about your concerns! She is always willing to support you in many ways, but only if you talk to her!

A typical day in lecture includes: a socrative quiz concerning the previous lecture (for participation or quiz points), the lecture portion, and then watching the lecture video for the portion of the lecture not covered in class.
It is incredibly important to not fall behind with the lectures and to attend tutoring/SI!
