Business Summary: Peak Strength is Werribee's only dedicated strength center, since November 2019. There are only 20 other dedicated strength centers in Victoria, making Peak the best of the best when it comes to Werribee. They have Competition-specific powerlifting facilities, a huge variety of strongman equipment, dedicated one-on-one strongman, powerlifting and strength and conditioning coaching, group classes and a treatment room with in house Allied Health workers and sports rehabilitation specialists. This facility isn’t just any casual gym, it’s for people that are serious about getting strong and committing themselves to fitness.
Business and Personnel Information: Terence and Paul first met in a remedial massage course they both attended in 2018. With Paul's vast knowledge of human anatomy and movement, and Terence's decades-long experience with powerlifting and strongman coaching, they began building the strength system that Peak Strength was founded upon.
Both Terence and Liz have a Certificate lV in Personal Training. Paul Tyrrell has a Bachelor of exercise and sport science, Australian weightlifting federation Olympic lifting level 1, Titleist performance institute level 1 and level 2 fitness, junior golf coach level 1, Australian strength and conditioning association level 1. He is a sports scientist, movement specialist, myotherapist, strength and conditioning coach and rehabilitation expert who specialises in injury prevention and rehab in athletes, team sports players and active individuals.
They decided in 2019 to find an old school center for all things strength, centered around their system of programming, coaching, pre- and rehabilitation that turns anyone with enough willpower into a brutal strength athlete. And with countless world records under his belt, Terence is proof in himself that the Peak Strength system works. Together, they stripped out an old radiator factory they found in Werribee, painted it black and filled it with the best quality strength equipment in Australia.
Liz Blackthorn, Terence's partner and self-professed student of strength, got on board and turned their system into a tangible program that every Peak Strength athlete walks around with in their hands. Thus, completes the Peak Strength team, with the unified goal of making a home for strength athletes in the West.

This can be gained through part-time or seasonal work.

Good problem solving, interpersonal, organisational and communication skills are also essential when working anywhere. Candidates should also be prepared to be trained while on the job. Management of OHS concerns: As a team of three, each member is responsible for their safety. The group meets weekly to discuss OHS concerns. Both Terence and Paul as founders of PEAK Strength Werribee are ultimately accountable for the safety of their employees (Liz), clients, members, delivery people, visitors from neighboring businesses, cleaners, trade workers such as plumbers, electricians etc., general visitors who enter the business premises, as well as themselves. Regular Members that come into the business are informed by OHS practices through their membership contracts that are signed and filed. Terence and Paul believe the safety and wellbeing of staff are managed correctly as no reports have been filed due to small employee and client numbers. Precautions are discussed and applied
Review in 1 month or when required
