Bumble Beez is open 7 days a week, providing a safe, clean, exciting and challenging environment for children and parents alike.
Our equipment caters for children from 0 - 6 years, offering sensory and imaginary play. We have a three lane carnival slide, ball pits, merry go rounds, brick house, climbing equipment plus lots of soft play!
Bumble Beez is an excellent choice for kids parties, offering themed parties, out of hours parties and activities, and plenty of activities and amusements!
Bumble Beez has now been open for 5 years, however the business has been operating for 17 years now!
Pricing:
The average pricing for each child to access bumble Beez is $8 per person. However adults get in for free. For a party hire it is $800 for 3 hours. ($120 for an additional hour.) There is also a $200.00 non refundable/transfer deposit required upon booking by paying a deposit you have agreed to terms and conditions. At the time of an your event, the company includes the below:
Exclusive use of all public areas in the center (no kitchen is upstairs).
Half an hour at the beginning to set up.
We can cater with our platters or you can self cater.
Sound system available.
Cafe and coffee machine services.
General cleaning only provided by bumble beez. So you will have to clear your toys etc.

Qualifications
The owner of Bumble Beez does not hold any formal qualifications. However, within the business there is a cafe and children’s play area. Government regulations state that anyone working with children must hold a Working with Children Check. As the business also provides food and drinks to the customers, the owner also holds a food handlers certificate.

The bumble bees cafe has a variety of options. They have single options (like pay at counter, sort of like a canteen) and then they have platters you can order ranging from $50. At the canteen they have things like hot chips, sausage rolls, party pies, nuggets, cocktail frankfurts, spring rolls etc. they also have fresh options like mixed sandwiches, seasonal fruits and cheese and crackers. They also have coffee/tea, water, cordial, soft drinks, fairy bread etc.

The job itself:
Our part time workers get all entitlements; such as holiday leave, sick leave, maternity leave.
80% of our workers are casual and 20% are part time.
OHS & safety procedures:
-We Aim to provide a safe and nurturing environment for 0 to 6 year olds to play and for guardians to relax.
- We have many posters up on the walls to insure everyone implements the ohns roles properly and as they walk through the door was also just remind them of the rules.
- Aimee said (Bumble beez manager)“Yes we have post in the bathroom, kitchen and all around the play equipment.”
- We ensure safety to our team by training them with procedures on how to do things and training them with the safety protocols to prevent accidents.
- If there is an incident we try to get the ohns manager to deal with most incidents but if there is anyone that has gone to aid straight away they are required to do an incident report.
- There are rules such as; having to wash your hands, wearing socks on the playground, not outside food in case of allergies.

Posters and signs are up all around the store to ensure everyone knows what their responsibilities are and to make sure they follow the rules.
SDS:
SDS sheets are also in the store around chemicals because they are many hazards that come with chemicals etc. The SDS sheets are required in most stores with chemical substances.

1: If the danger is still at risk of harm you and others call 000 immediately
2: confirm what the incident is about and notify triple zero
3: ensure no one disturbs the incident until someone came out
if the incident has to be disturbed follow these steps:
a: protect the persons health and safety
b: help the person who is injured
c: Make sure the area is clear
4: Notify work safe by calling there number 13 23 60 immediately
5: Write up a report within 48 hours of the incident.
6: print a copy of the incident report
7: save a copy of the incident report because you are required to hold onto it for the next five years
