Motivating students
I think particularly with something like singing, it’s a very close and a very vulnerable instrument and every other instrument and so it’s like you hold any other instrument well as for singing it comes from inside of you the way I tried to motivate students is by first up by making sure it’s a very supportive encouraging environment I think that’s very important. And then another way is I try to make them think about potential opportunities whether that will be gigging or doing shows or even doing performances at school. I'm always wanting to get them thinking about those further opportunities. Or particularly high school students I always want to know what they are doing in their personal lives with performances or things because then I can encourage them to go further with that.
