They have been advised to always ask for assistance to keep all children safe and to supervise them. They have trained floor staff consistently monitoring the play area. It is the parents or guardian’s responsibility to monitor and supervise their children’s behaviours and actions while playing. Inflatable World also actively encourages parents/ guardians to interact with their children during play.
In accordance with the OHS Act and WorkSafe Victoria, the documentation Brett regularly completes and work with his staff to communicate risk assessment, induction forms and workplace regulation forms. Brett files each document in the office that only he has access to.
Inflatable World website and signage at the location is found everywhere that informs participants of the safety procedures. Prior to participants using the equipment, parents and children over the 5 must watch a safety video.

If you have a child between the ages from 0-4 you are required to supervise them in the under 5’s play area/ we do however request that you accompany your child in all other areas of the centre. If your child is from 5-8, we encourage their parent or guardian to keep them in a conscious view. If your child is from the ages 9-16 the parent or guardian is encouraged to check in with them and ensure that they are playing safe with younger children and following inflatable worlds safety rules.
The two safety directors of Inflatable World Werribee Caroline and Brett play a big role in the business when it comes to OHS. The two safety directors check in with the center weekly to monitor any incidents that may have happened and to ensure that all the customers and staff are in a safe and enjoyable environment. They have big meetings once a month with head health and safety officers in the department. If there have been any occurring incidents that have been reported and if it is a very serious manner this will be reported to Darel who is the district health and safety manager. Coraline and Brett will collect innocent and hazard forms from the management team at Inflatable World and then will take the incident to the head office to further research. If the situation is at its worst case it can be reported to work health and safety and they will do a full inspection on the situation as well as do an in-depth inspection of the workplace. If required Caroline and Brett can call in WorkSafe to advise them on safe work practices. All OHS concerns are in accordance with the OHS Act 2004.

Inflatable World Werribee has no specific requirements to their pay guide/ entitlements however I have used the Miscellaneous Award [MA000104] as a guide to the pay rates.
As a part-time or full-time adult at Inflatable World on level one you will receive $19.84 as your hourly pay rate. However, as you continue with your course which includes floor training, food handling and first aid you will go to higher stages in your course which will make your pay increase. The highest level that you can reach is level 4 this level will increase your pay by $6.64 which means that your hourly pay would change to $25.20 per hour. Full time or part-time pay is lower rates than a casual because full time and part-time work is on a contract that includes sick leave, carers leave, annual leave and public holiday pay.
The table attached below shows the hourly pay for a part-time or full-time adult on level 1,2,3 and 4:
Level 1
$19.84
Level 2
$21.19
Level 3
$23.09
Level 4
$25.20
As an adult casual member at Inflatable World On level 1 you will receive $28.77 as your hourly pay rate. However, as you continue with your training you will move up levels. The highest paying level is level 4 which you can receive a total amount of $36.54 per hour. The reasoning as to why the pay is higher as a casual staff member is because you do not have the benefits to receive things such as sick leave, carers leave and annual leave.
The table attached below shows the hourly pay for a casual adult on level 1,2,3, and 4:
Level 1
$28.77
Level 2
$30.73
Level 3
$33.48
Level 4
$36.54
As an apprentice/ traineeship the pay rates will change from year to year the reasoning for the change in hourly rates is based off experience, growth and understanding. As a first-year trainee, your hourly pay will be $12.70 per hour. This traineeship goes up to four years the highest pay you can receive is $21.94 per hour.
The table attached below shows the hourly pay for an apprentice/ traineeship on level 1,2,3, and 4:
Traineeship year 1
$12.70
Traineeship year 2
$15.01
Traineeship year 3
