Kindergarten Making Art

In Kindergarten visual arts, students are working to understand that visual art and design can be used to tell stories, as they begin to recognize that individuals can have more than one point of view. As they learn to use materials with "intention and care," they discover that "explorative play" with varying art media can inspire new ideas and opinions. In the end, my hope is that they recognize how art is integrated into all of our lives on a daily basis (Visual Arts - 2020 Colorado Academic Standards, 2020).
