2nd-Grade Art

Using the Google Drawing app as their art-making medium and with a concentration on the most basic elements of art and design - Line, Shape, Color, and Pattern - the 2nd-Grade art students worked to discover how similar ideas can be expressed in multiple ways; determine what art vocabulary is useful when discussing works of art and design; describe how artists choose materials to communicate ideas; use the language of visual art and design to describe observations and form opinions; and create finished works of art (Visual Arts - 2020 Colorado Academic Standards, 2020).
