2nd-Grade Art

The Lesson: Following a discussion about "the art of storytelling," the 2nd-Grade students created an illustration depicting "What's hiding under my bed..." as they simultaneously exercised the practice of 'inserting and arranging images' in the Google Drawing app.

Lesson Objectives: Students can explain choices made in the artmaking process as they determine what art vocabulary is useful when discussing works of art and design (Visual Arts - 2020 Colorado Academic Standards, 2020).
