• Attended Sachse High School in Sachse, TX - Graduated in 2006.
  • Involved in A Cappella Choir, Madrigal Choir, National Honors Society, and Business Professionals of America.
  • Graduated in top 10% of class with guaranteed admission to an Texas State funded college/university.
• Attended Dana College in Blair, NE. - Graduated in January of 2010.
  • Involved in Dana College Chorale, Co-President of MENC Chapter, and Resident’s Assistant for 3 years.
  • Was a Presidential Scholar and received a top Academic Awards Scholarship.
  • Graduated Cum Laude in 3.5 years - an entire semester early!
  • Currently holds a Bachelor’s of Music Education with an emphasis in Vocal Music K-12.

Teaching Career

I’ve been teaching for Lewis Central Schools since graduating college in 2010. I taught Elementary Music at Titan Hill Intermediate School for 6 years as a half-time teacher. During those 6 years I also substitute taught in several metro-area school districts: Lewis Central Schools, Millard Public Schools, Bellevue Public Schools, and Fremont Public Schools.

In 2016 I took the position of Vocal Music Director at Lewis Central Middle School. I now have the pleasure of teaching the 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Choirs, 6th Grade General Music, 7th Grade History of Rock and Roll, and 8th Grade Drama Club. I also coach the 7th and 8th Grade Show Choir, Titan Force, after school.
