Children in Glacier Class have been exploring how the world works, taking part in creating maps of the world and painting the land and sea. As a class, we are engaging in a variety of multisensory activities such as painting pasta for fine motor skill practice, construction using foam bricks and stickle bricks and mark making in paint using vehicles.

Pupils in Glacier class have been correctly matching numbers 1 to 3 with the correct quantity picture and written number. Some pupils have attempted larger numbers. Pupils have explored different size images and placed them in size order.
Some of the objectives we are working towards are:
Finds big and small objects on request.
Explores the position of objects.
Makes sets that have the same small number of objects in each.
Sorts or Matches objects or pictures by recognising similarities.
