Welcome to Module 6! As we move into the final term, we’re looking forward to making the most of the warmer weather by using our outdoor spaces more often. This term brings exciting events, including our much-anticipated Sports Day, which we can’t wait to enjoy together. In our IB sessions, we’ll be exploring engaging topics such as light, shapes, and the Romans. We will continue with our continuous provision sessions, giving pupils rich opportunities to explore, play, and learn.

Module 5
This term brings fresh opportunities for hands-on learning and exploration across all areas of the curriculum. In our IB sessions, we will be learning about plants, gardening, and farming—exploring how things grow and how we can care for the environment around us. Our Forest School sessions will continue to take place every Wednesday, offering valuable opportunities for outdoor learning and deepening our connection with nature. In PE, we will be focusing on swimming, helping learners build confidence in the water. We look forward to a term filled with discovery, growth, and meaningful learning experiences.

Module 4
This term, we have an exciting range of plans in place that will provide enriching and engaging opportunities for our learners. In our IB sessions, we will be learning about how healthy eating helps keeps our bodies healthy, how the digestive system works and the importance of brushing our teeth. Our Forest School sessions will continue to take place every Wednesday, providing valuable opportunities for outdoor learning and fostering a connection with nature. In PE, we will be working on aiming at a target, practising our accuracy skills. We look forward to a term filled with discovery, growth, and meaningful learning experiences.

In our IB sessions, we will embark on inquiries into the wonders of the jungle and the fascinating processes of water cycles, as well as exploring seas and oceans. Our Forest School sessions will continue to take place every Wednesday, providing valuable opportunities for outdoor learning and fostering a connection with nature. On Tuesdays, our PE lessons will incorporate our "Rhyme of the Week," allowing us to integrate physical activity with creative learning in a purposeful and enjoyable way. We look forward to a term filled with discovery, growth, and meaningful learning experiences.

Mountain class have continued leaning about states of matter by using our sesnse to learn how ice changes as it melts. We have worked on sustaining interest in exciting activities and have used shapes to create paintings, combining art and maths in a cross-curricular session.
Mountain class explored arts and culture by painting with different mediums and exploring the meaning of apples to the Jewish community. We made connections to the world by exploring solid objects and the soil in which we can grow plants. We shared our thoughts by making choices in our activities, such as choosing items to explore, playing songs on the interactive board, choosing what we wanted to eat at snack time and many more opportunities every day.
