Welcome to Module 5
This module, we will explore the wonders of the natural world and beyond. We will investigate the Earth’s natural systems, such as weather patterns and essential resources like soil, stone, and plant life. We will investigate how our environment connects through light and shadows, nighttime and daytime. We will learn how we impact our world by making seed bombs and litter picking. We will learn about moon, planets, and rockets. Through the lenses of form, responsibility, and change, we will develop our learner attributes by being caring toward all living things and principled in how we treat our planet.

Welcome to Module 4
This module, we will be exploring how materials are classified and how they change, discovering the uses for different materials in everyday life. We will learn to find our way around the local school and understand how rules and systems help us stay organised. Through art, we will create collages inspired by Alma Thomas, experimenting with colours and textures. We will also focus on healthy snacks and staying active, linking choices to wellbeing. Throughout, we will develop key skills as thinkers, knowledgeable learners, and open-minded explorers.

Welcome to Module 3
This module, we will explore an exciting range of learning, including the Aztecs, rocks, the sculptures of Louise Nevelson, religious celebrations taking place during the term, and cooking influences from around the world. All of this learning will be linked through the central idea that rules and systems help us to organise and make sense of the world. There will be lots of hands-on and creative activities to help us develop our curiosity as we explore new ideas and make meaningful connections across our learning.

Welcome to Module 2
This term, we will be exploring British history from the 1950s and 1960s, discovering what life was like during those exciting decades. Our learning will also include investigating sound, developing our functional cooking skills, and practising sketching while studying the work of British artist Stephen Wiltshire. As we move through the term, we will celebrate seasonal themes by learning about Hanukkah, the Nativity, and all things Christmas.

Welcome to Module 1
This module we will spend time settling into our new routines and timetables, getting to know one another, and making the most of our new outdoor spaces. Our IB sessions will focus on exploring the world around us in simple, engaging ways. We will be learning about the different jobs people do, what animals eat, and what healthy eating looks like for humans. We will also be inspired by the artist Keith Haring and explore the celebrations of Sukkot and Harvest. We will continue to enjoy Forest School each week and will have a weekly swimming session.
