The Well-Structured Lesson is the design phase for the Roadmap.  It encourages educators to plan their lessons with the goals of the Roadmap in mind.  

The well-structured lesson has several important components:

The Beginning and Ending of a Lesson Presentation - This link will take you to excerpts from a conducted in September 2024.  This slidedeck provides information about how to begin and end a lesson using the "well-structured lesson" model.  

Well-Structured Lesson Preparation Tool - This link will take you to the Well-Structured Lesson Preparation Tool.  It was designed by administration and our academic team to help educators in MPS design and implement a well-structured lesson.  

Well-Structured Lesson Walkthrough Tool - This link will take you to the Well-Structured Lessons Walkthrough Tool.  This tool was designed by administration and our academic team to help assess our implementation of a well-structured lesson.  This tool is mean only to provide helpful feedback, not as an evaluative tool.
