Disability Rights Movement
Introduction
The Disability Rights Movement has been a long struggle, fought on-and-off since the 19th century. However, in the aftermath of the Civil Rights Movement, new urgency was brought into the struggle. As the leaders of other disadvantaged groups introduced new tactics in their struggle for the growth of their rights, disability activists undertook new and vigorous struggles.
