Second Wave Feminism
Second Wave Feminism
Introduction
Second Wave Feminism emerged in the aftermath of World War II and sought to build on the successes of First Wave Feminism. While women had more-or-less achieved legal equality, they still struggled against economic and social discrimination. Feminist thinkers or the time advocated for better treatment in employment and more equal representation. This would have wide-ranging implications for society, including economically, socially, and politically.
