Friday 3 July 2026

It has been another wonderful week at Jupiter Primary School.  A real highlight was our Sports Day which was a fantastic event.  We are so proud of all the children, who tried so hard and demonstrated excellent sportsmanship. It was so wonderful to see so many parents and family members who came along to cheer the children on -  your support made such a difference. A huge thank you to the staff team who worked to make the day run so smoothly.

We have also been treated to some wonderful class performances from Year 4 and Year 5 recently. The children put an enormous amount of effort into preparing for these events, and it was a joy to see their confidence, creativity, and teamwork shine through. Thank you to all the family members who came along to watch and support and to the teachers for helping the children prepare so well.

Our Year 2 classes enjoyed a fantastic trip to the Roald Dahl Museum this week. The children were amazing and represented our school beautifully. Thank you to all the staff and parent volunteers who helped to make the trip possible.

End of Key Stage Two Assessment (SATs) Results

You may have seen reports in the media regarding a delay to the Key Stage 2 SATs results. This is due to a technical issue that affects all schools across the country. As a result of this national complication, the data is now expected to be released to schools towards the end of the last week of term. Please be assured that as soon as we have received and checked these results, we will get them out to you as quickly as we possibly can. We understand that this unexpected delay is frustrating for our Y6 children and their families, and we very much share that feeling. However, this setback will not get in the way of us celebrating everything that the children have achieved during their time with us.

Don’t forget it is the PTA Summer Family Party tonight! We are looking forward to seeing you all there for a wonderful evening if you can make it. Please remember that all children need a ticket to attend but  must be accompanied by an adult.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
