What a busy and meaningful week it has been! I wanted to share a few highlights with you all.

Remembering Together

It was truly moving to see so many of our pupils arrive in their service uniforms on Tuesday as part of our Remembrance Day commemorations. The respect shown by the children across the whole school during the two minutes of silence was exceptional, and it was a powerful moment for us all to share.

Kindness and Anti-Bullying Week

This week also saw the fantastic kick-off of Anti-Bullying Week. Our assembly on Monday was focused on the incredible 'power for good' that our children possess—the power to raise awareness, speak up for themselves, or advocate for someone else if they know bullying is happening.

This ties in perfectly with our whole-school value for this half-term: Kindness. We’ve been having wonderful, in-depth conversations in class about what it genuinely means to be kind to one another in all our interactions.

Welcome Mr. Robinson!

We are delighted to have started welcoming Mr. Robinson to the school this week! He has already joined me on the playground and at the school gates a few times and has begun getting to know some of our lovely parents, carers, and children. If you see him around over the coming weeks, please do stop and say hello—he is looking forward to meeting you all!

Children in Need Success!

Finally, a huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Children in Need fundraising day today! It was wonderful to see so many splashes of yellow across the school. Thank you so much for all your generous donations towards this worthwhile charity. We will be counting everything up and will share the final total we've raised next week.

Have a wonderful and safe weekend.
