It’s been another wonderful week here at Jupiter, full of enthusiasm, creativity, and Inspired Learning!
It was lovely to welcome our remaining KS2 classes for their CLIC sessions this week. We were delighted that so many parents and carers were able to join us — thank you for taking the time to come into school, support your child in class, and experience one of our lessons first-hand. It’s always a pleasure to share the learning that takes place every day at Jupiter, and these sessions really capture the spirit of curiosity and collaboration that sit at the heart of our vision for Inspired Learning.
On Monday it was also a pleasure to hold our first Parent Forum meeting with those parents/carers who had nominated themselves. We have started as a small, but strong, group who I hope can work with me and school leaders to continue to move the school forwards and take onboard ideas and feedback. The minutes of the meeting can be found in the newsletter below.
The PTA Halloween Disco on Wednesday, followed by the Year One Harvest Festival on Thursday were also highlights of the week for me, and a great opportunity for our community of pupils and families to come together. I was immensely proud of all our Year One pupils who stood up and spoke and sang during their assembly, and I know those who attended would also echo this. We had an incredible amount of donations for the Harvest, which again just shows what we can achieve as a small community, and every little bit really does help.
We’re now looking forward to seeing you all for the Parent Consultation Meetings next week — please see the information below for further details.
Wishing you all a lovely weekend, and thank you once again for helping make Jupiter such a supportive community.
