What a busy but short week it has been! Despite only being four days long, we have managed to pack so much brilliant learning in. I know Year Three have been making the most of their Forest School sessions (despite the chilly weather) - and it is really wonderful that all our pupils can benefit from this with Miss. Vincett and Mr. Brown over the course of the academic year.

A quick but very important reminder that school is closed tomorrow (Friday) for our occasional day. The school will also be closed on Monday (01 December), for staff training. We look forward to welcoming all pupils back to school on Tuesday 02 December.

Next week is a very exciting time for Jupiter as we officially welcome Mr. Robinson, our new Headteacher, who begins his role. You will be seeing him around the school and classrooms a lot more each day as he settles in.

I will be remaining on-site with Mr. Robinson for the final three weeks of this term to ensure a smooth and effective handover. Beyond this term, I will of course continue to work closely with Jupiter on a weekly basis in my role as Primary Director in the new year. I won't be far away at all, and I am very much looking forward to supporting the school, its wonderful staff, and all of our pupils in everything that it is doing. We have begun to make some very positive changes, and I am excited to be part of seeing these through over the coming terms. It has been a privilege to serve at the interim Headteacher of Jupiter over the last few months, and although it has only been a short while, I have been touched by the incredibly warm welcome I have received from everybody and I shall very much miss seeing you all on a daily basis - even when it is pouring with rain out on the gate!

Finally, thank you so much for the incredible generosity shown today for our non-uniform day! The money raised will contribute directly towards our new playground equipment. We will be counting all the contributions over the long weekend and will be able to share the final amount raised in next week's newsletter.

I hope you all have a great long weekend. Do take the time to rest and recharge if you are able to, and we look forward to seeing all the pupils back on Tuesday.
