It has been another wonderful week at Jupiter Primary School, with so much to enjoy together. It has been another very hot week, well done to everyone for surviving the heat! Thank you so much for your support in keeping the children safe by ensuring they come to school with hats, water bottles, and suncream.
It has been an incredibly exciting week as the children spent time in their new classes during our transition days. It was also wonderful to welcome our new Reception intake for next year, who visited us on Monday and Thursday. We are so excited to see them start their journey with us.
It was a big week for our Year 6 children, who visited their new secondary schools on Thursday as part of their transition. We have been talking about looking back with pride at the incredible progress they have made during their time in primary school and that they are more than ready for this new adventure. The Year 6 blew us away with their spectacular performance of 'Oliver with a Twist' at Astley Cooper. They did an absolutely amazing job, and we want to congratulate and thank everyone involved. If you missed it, their final performance will take place next Monday at 2pm, tickets are still available
On Wednesday, our Year 4 classes enjoyed a fantastic trip to Whipsnade Zoo. The children had a wonderful time exploring and learning about the animals. Thank you so much to all the staff and volunteers who helped to make this memorable trip possible.
As you will have seen yesterday, our Summer Party raised an amazing £1261.83. Thank you so much to everyone who attended and those who helped to make this event such a success. Please find the raffle prize winners in the PTA session further down.
We are looking forward to seeing you at our Celebration of Work evening on Wednesday 15th July from 3.30pm. This is an opportunity for you to come into the classroom and look through your child’s work with them. Please wait in the playground after collecting your child(ren). We will invite you into classes via the classroom doors or external stairs once all of the children have been collected after school.
