Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been another exciting and busy week here at Jupiter. The children continue to impress me with their curiosity, enthusiasm, and growing sense of resilience. Walking around the school, I have been struck by the focus in classrooms and the increasing pride pupils are taking in their work.

This week I have been delighted to see a range of displays of learning going up around the school, focused on a book the whole-school has been reading called ‘Dear Earth’.  Each year-group has taken a different aspect of the book to look at and explore through their work in Art, and there is a terrific array of art displayed across the school which I hope you’ll see on your visits to the school this term.

A huge thank you to all staff for their hard work, and to you, our families, for your continued support. It has been great to get to know more of you on the playground who keep giving me feedback that I can use to help make Jupiter even greater.  When home and school work closely together, our pupils thrive – and I hope that this continues to an even greater extent over the coming term.

Next week we begin our interviews for the position of new Headteacher at Jupiter, and myself and the staff are looking forward to meeting those candidates who have applied.  We shall of course keep you updated of any outcome in due course.

As we move into the coming weeks, please do keep an eye on upcoming dates and reminders in this newsletter.

Wishing you all a restful weekend.

Mr. Wanford
