It may have been a little damp this week but that has not stopped us from having a fantastic week here at Jupiter Primary School.  In Monday’s assembly we explored two key rules with the children: Be Kind and Be Ready.  We had some great discussions about the different things that we want to be ready for and what we can do to help achieve this.  We will continue to develop these themes throughout the rest of the year as we launch two exciting new projects - Jupiter’s Choices over the coming weeks and Jupiter’s Futures after Easter.  More on both to follow.

Our Learner Voice Council enjoyed a wonderful trip to Cranbourne Primary School for a Trust-Wide meeting and induction day.  Thank you to the children for doing such a great job of representing our school and to Mrs Waters for leading the LVC and the trip.

Yesterday, Year One travelled to Hemel Hempstead Sports Centre to participate in a Dacorum School Sports Network tournament.  Well done to all of the children for making this a great day and to the staff for organising the trip.  A special thank you to all of the parents who gave up their time to partner with us to provide this opportunity for the children.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

It was wonderful to have lots of parents join our information meetings about the Year One Phonics Screening Check this week.  Again, it is so helpful to work in partnership for the benefit of the children.  Thank you to Mrs Waters and the Year One Team for facilitating the session.  Please see the note below for information on how to access the slides and resources.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
