In addition to Study Island you will read the Tiger at Bronx Zoo article that can be found in this link: https://newsela.com/read/coronavirus-tiger/id/2001007789/
In Google Docs you will need to respond to the follow prompt, and then share your work to my email. James.mcbee@jefferson.kyschools.us
Remember this is just like we have done many times before, you will find the share button in the upper right corner.
Prompt:
We recently learned different Text Structures like chronological order. cause and effect, problem solution etc. Which text structure did this author use in this article? Provide examples from the text to prove you answer. Always write in complete sentences!
Assignment 2:
Hi friends! I miss you so much! In two paragraphs I want you to talk about your experience since we have been out of school. In the first paragraph I want you to tell me what you’ve been doing to pass the time. For example, if you’ve been watching Netflix, which shows have you been watching? If you’ve been playing on your Playstation, what games have you been playing? In the second paragraph, I want you to tell me what you miss (or don’t miss) about being in school. You can also tell me if you are looking forward to online instruction or not. For example, you can tell me if you miss being in school because you had a routine. In order to receive full credit, each paragraph needs to be 4-5 sentences. Let me know if you have questions!
This assignment will also be typed in Google Docs and shared to my email James.mcbee@jefferson.kyschools.us
