1. Watch: “Food Webs and Energy” and answer the questions on the Food Web Video Worksheet” linked on Google Classroom.
2. Read: “Food Chains and Food Webs” and answer the questions on the “Food Web Reading Questions Worksheet” linked in Google Classroom.
3. Do: Students will use what they know about food webs to create a food web on the “NTI Hoo eats Who?” linked in Google Classroom. You will create a food web based upon the information given and answer the questions about the food web on page 2. Make sure you upload your food web and submit your questions.
4. Assess: Students will take their Trophic Levels Competency Check on Student Portal in Gradecam.

1. Watch: “Population Ecology & Factors affecting Population” and answer the questions on the “Population Ecology Video Worksheet” linked on Google Classroom.
2. Read: “What Factors Determine the Carrying Capacity of an Ecosystem” and answer the questions on the “Carrying Capacity Reading Questions” linked in Google Classroom.
3. Do: Students will watch the video on Human Population History called “World Population”. As they watch, they are to answer the “World Population Over Time Questions” linked in Google Classroom. These questions are analysis questions based on what you learned during watch and read, and applying them to human population data.
4. Assess: Students will take their Population Ecology Competency Check on Google classroom.

Students are to complete their virtual pig dissection and answer all associated questions via Google clasroom.

Read: Carbon Emissions Are Falling, But Still Not Enough, Scientists Say (Air Pollution) Reflect using the GIST summary in the Google Doc entitled “Task 2: Read” in google classroom
Do: Watch a short video that introduces the idea of an ecological footprint. Calculate your Ecological Footprint Reflect on personal actions you could take to reduce your ecological footprint in the Google Doc entitled “Task 3: Do” in google classroom
Assess: Students will take their Human Impacts on the Environment Competency Check on Google Classroom
Anatomy (6th):
Students will complete the Human Body Sytems interactions research project on Google classroom .
Biology (1st, 3rd, 4th and 7th):
Read: Read the article from The National Wildlife Federation “Invasive Species” and answer the reading questions in google classroom
Read: Read the article from The National Wildlife Federation “Endangered Species” and answer the reading questions in google classroom
Do: Students must complete the Invasive and Endangered Species Research Activity
Students will choose one invasive species from a list and one endangered species from a list and answer questions about them from the Research worksheet. Then, students will create a google slides presentation (from a template) using those questions
Assess: There is no assess task this week, your google slides presentation will go into the gradebook as a summative assessment this week.

Anatomy: Students will need to complete the first aid and CPR research assignment as well as the accompanying assessment.
