6) Unit 6 CFA: Make sure you know what your grades were for Unit 6's Learning Targets (Check Infinite Campus). These were the grades from our last CFA before March 13th. I am in the process of creating an electronic CFA for students to take, IF YOU NEED TO RECOVER THOSE GRADES. The CFA will be optional. I plan to have it ready for students to take sometime next week.
I sent individual messages to all of you last week regarding ALEKS. Thank you to the students who responded by replying to the message or by working in ALEKS. Congratulations to the students who have mastered the 100 topics.
This week I will be sending emails and making phone calls to parents of students who are still not participating in ALEKS. If you do not participate in ALEKS you risk not earning the JCTC credit and receiving an "Incomplete" for this class, which means you will have to recover standards next year to earn your high school Algebra II credit.
There will be two assignments this week.
1) Making progress in ALEKS - remember you have to master at least 100 topics. Check for the message that I sent each of you last week.
2) A Common Formative Assessment will be released on Wednesday (4/29) morning. The assessment will be administered through a Google Form.
I will host Google Meets on Wednesday and Friday. I will be available to help with your ALEKS work, review the previous week's work, or assist with the assessment.

Thursday 4/30 12:30 - 1:30: https://meet.google.com/ncx-sgmx-frw
1) We will slow down some this week. The majority of you have been working hard and turning assignments in on time. However, some of you need more time to catch up on assignments. If you need more time to complete the last two week's assignments, then use the first half of this week to catch up.
2) The Unit 6 CFA will be on a Google Form and will be released on Sunday 4/26. Remember this is a "recovery" assessment. Please read below to determine if you need/should/want to take it.
Unit 6 CFA: Make sure you know what your grades were for Unit 6's Learning Targets (Check Infinite Campus). These were the grades from our last CFA before March 13th. I am in the process of creating an electronic CFA for students to take, IF YOU NEED TO RECOVER THOSE GRADES. The CFA will be optional.
3) On Wednesday (4/29) morning I will release Lesson 8.2.1. It will have a tentative due date of Friday 5/1 at 11:59 pm.
4) On Friday (5/1) morning I will release a Unit 7 Progression Assessment over Lessons 8.1.1, 8.1.2, and 8.1.3. You will not receive the assessment until you turn in all assignments covering those lessons. I hope to have work from all students by this date, so that I can release answers to the lessons for students to review before taking the assessment.
