Mystery Reader
We love books and love listening to stories in Da Vinci class.
Each week we welcome a 'Mystery Reader' to come into class to read a book. The mystery reader needs to leave us 3 clues about who they might be. The children love to try and guess our guest using the clues given.

Visiting the Library
Every other week we visit the Hundred of Hoo Secondary library. The librarian reads and story to us then we work with a partner for Year 9 to share books. Sometimes they read to us and sometimes we read to them by re-reading books that are familair to them. We then talk about the books together. We have grown in confidence in talking to the older children (and so have they!)
ELG - Literacy - Comprehension

Anticipate (where appropriate) key events in stories.
