Module 5
Making Soup
On our visit to Kent Life, we took part in a workshop called Soup's on! We used tools to peel, cut and chop vegetables and herbs to go into the soup. We needed to handle the tools with care when cutting the vegetables into small pieces.

As part of our learning about the King's coronation, we made our own crowns to wear in the celebrations. We were given a range of resources to make and decorate our crowns. We needed to decide the best methods to add and join different media to our crown.
Glue? Tape? Hole Punch? Stapler? We needed to make the decision about the most effective ways to join.
In forest school, we used a range of media to create our own sceptres. We needed to use the adult fabric scissors, saws and peelers with great care. We also learnt how to tie a knot to attach the ribbons.
