There is an endless variety of baking tools, pans, equipment, and utensils on the market. So many that it becomes difficult to figure out what we really NEED in our kitchens and what is simply there taking up space. This lesson is designed to help you week out all of the STUFF from what you really NEED. You'll explore and then create a blog post about what you learned.
Lesson Objectives:
You will know the most critical tools and utensils for baking.
You will compare the traditional oven and the convection oven.
Lesson Goals:
You will create a blog post, with an introduction, that lists and describes the function of the 10 most critical baking tools and utensils.
You will create a comparison chart of 5 traits of a convection and conventional oven for your blog post.
You will create a list of two items you would have in your kitchen if there were no restrictions on space or money.
Check out a few of the articles and compare their lists. What are real necessities and what can you live without? You'll need to narrow your list down to the most essential 10 items for your blog post so start thinking about what you really MUST HAVE.
Some people prefer to bake in their conventional oven while others swear by the convection oven they own. Both have their benefits and their negative features. Your job is to investigate and find out what makes each a great oven.

Write an introduction for your article about baking equipment.
Then fill in the template with your 10 products. Each must have a product name and a description of what it does and why you need it.
In the convection vs. conventional section use X to mark the correct column(s) for each statement.
Finally, write a little bit about your fantasy items. What would you want in your kitchen if there was nothing holding you back.
