Oops, I forgot an ingredient!

Lab Objective:

• You will understand what each ingredient does in a baking recipe.

Lab Goal:

• You will make a recipe but leave out one ingredient.

Expectations:

1. While you are making your mini muffins you will leave out one ingredient as assigned by your teacher.

2. When your muffins are finished you will taste one from each group and record your observations.

3. You will wrap up the lab experience by writing a conclusion about what you have proven with the experiment.

Every group will use the same recipe HOWEVER each group will leave out one ingredient. The teacher will tell you which ingredient your group is leaving out.

During the taste test you should record your observations on the form below and then write a conclusion related to what you have learned.
