We're so glad you chose to take Baking!
Today you are going to get an overview of the course so you are all comfortable and at home with the format. You are also going to get to know your classmates a bit since we're "all in this together" for the semester.
Lesson Objective:
You will learn how to navigate the website to find information and resources.
You will practice looking up important information on the website.
You will begin creating a classroom community of learners.
Lesson Goal:
You will watch a screen cast and answer questions about site navigation.
You will complete a scavenger hunt to locate important course information.
You will create an introduction slide for the class slideshow.
How Does This Course Work?
How Does This Course Work?
This course is set up in a Hybrid format. In a hybrid course some of the traditional face-to-face instruction is replaced with web-based online learning. In a nutshell, this means that some of the assignments will take place synchronously in the classroom and others will be completed on your own.
All of the learning resources including videos, articles, web links, worksheets, recipes, etc. will be found on this website so you can have access to them no matter where you are learning. All assignments will be handed in via Google Classroom.
