Lab Objective:
You will understand what solid vs. liquid fat does in a baking recipe.
Lab Goal:
You will make a recipe using an assigned fat.
While you are making your brownies you will use a solid or liquid fat as assigned by your teacher.
When your brownies are finished you will taste one from each group and record your observations.
You will wrap up the lab experience by writing a conclusion about what you have proven with the experiment.
Every group will use the same recipe HOWEVER each group will use a different fat. The teacher will tell you which fat your group is assigned to use.
During the taste test you should record your observations on the form below and then write a conclusion related to what you have learned.
