Condition1) Those who have attended consecutively for two or more semesters starting from the Criteria C admission, with an attendance rate of 80% or higher each semester.
(Semesters studied at our Institute before entering the 'Criteria C' are not counted.)
Condition2) Completion of Level 3 or higher at our institution or attainment of TOPIK Level 3 or higher (however, those admitted before September 2024 must complete Level 4 or higher at our institution).
* Only the results from the 100th TOPIK PBT exam (with scores released on 26th, June, 2025) or 7th TOPIK IBT exam ((with scores released on 4th, July 2025) are valid.
** However, applicants who were admitted to the undergraduate university before September 2024 must follow the previous re-enrollment requirements (TOPIK level 3 or higher, or completion of level 4 or higher at the language institute).

- Applicable Students: All Criteria C students admitted through the international admission from September 2024 onward
- Effective Date: From the Fall 2025 semester
- Regulations: If a student has completed a semester at the Korean Language Institute but has not met the required language level, they must register for additional semesters at the Korean Language Institute.
※ Even if the student meets the language requirement (ex: obtains TOPIK) during the semester, they must complete all semesters they are registered for.

If you lack 「condition 1」 , you can’t register for the next semester.
If you lack 「condition 2」 , you must register for Hongik language institute for the following semester.
Due to the regulation enforcement of Hongik Language Institute on expulsion, those who flunk the same level 3 times will be expelled from both Hongik Language Institute and Hongik University.
