POG Samples and Examples of Mastery

The Portrait of a Graduate is a process that begins at home, then is transferred to the school setting in Pre-Kindergarten.  Once in PK students will begin to learn, create, develop skills that are essential for life. This purpose and focus of the Portrait of a Graduate tenets.  There are  7 main tenets that make up the Portrait of a Graduate.  In an effort to better see how a student will progress and grow through their PK-12 educational journey, the tenets have been laid out in a sequence for each grade level.  To add to the sequence examples of Mastery have been created through a collaborative effort.  These are just some examples and not a limited list, as the process develops the list will continue to grow and be modified, this is truly a living document.
