In this course, we examine the narrative and informational writing of Americans throughout the country's history. Beginning with an overview of author craft in multiple short story narratives, we look together into what message is conveyed and how the author achieves that. We use these tactics as we explore more writing, culminating in an experience with the novel, The Great Gatsby.
