Welcome to 8th Grade Math! I am so excited to be your math teacher this year! This course will be full of opportunities to challenge yourself, strengthen your problem-solving skills, and discover how math connects to the world around you. My goal is for our classroom to be a safe place where learning happens through curiosity, collaboration, and yes — even mistakes. Mistakes are not setbacks; they are stepping-stones to deeper understanding. Asking questions, sharing your thinking, and persevering through challenges will help you grow as a mathematician. 

Throughout the year, we will explore new ideas, build on what you already know, and prepare for the mathematical demands of high school and beyond. You will be encouraged to think critically, explain your reasoning, and apply concepts to real-world situations.
