Meet Ms. Burnett

Ms. Ashley Burnett is an Earth Science teacher at Global Learning Charter Public School. She is a graduate of Maine Maritime Academy in Castine, ME with a Bachelor's of Science in Marine Science with a minor in Marine Biology. She earner her Master's of Arts in Teaching from the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth, MA.

She enjoys working with students to see their full potential and experience real science within the classroom. Using Project and Place based learning, Ms. Burnett engages students in scientific thought and exploration. In Ms. Burnett's classes, she uses technology and advanced science equipment to encourage students to collect and approach data in an interest catching way.

Outside of school, Ms. Burnett enjoys fishing, playing with her dog Joey and spending time with her family.
