A systematic approach to work environment management is about noticing and considering all the various aspects of the work environment in day-to-day work that may affect employees' health and safety. At EMG we work systematically with the work environment in a number of different ways.

If you are in need for a ergonomically adjusted work area due to medical reasons (doctor’s note required), please contact your closest manager.
The company covers the cost for one eye test and, if needed, working glasses (eye glass frames not included). We also covers the cost for eyeglass frames up to 1000 SEK. This only applies to glasses especially designed for working in front of a display, which also needs to be stated on the receipt from the optician.
The safety committee at EMG consists of CEO, CIO, COO, HR Manager and Safety representative.
The safety committee meets once a year. HR Manager are the organizer of the meetings. Two weeks before the meeting the HR manager shall inform all employees in the company about the meeting and gather questions etc, if any.

The purpose of examining the work environment is to visualize, identify and map the work environmental risks that could occur at our work place.
At EMG we do this mainly through four processes: Safety rounds, Employee engagement survey, Physical environment report form for employees and Performance assessment with your closest manager.
From this examinations we identify the risks we have in the organisation, valuate the severeness of the risks, and set a plan of action connected to them.
All incidents and accidents that occur shall be reported and investigated. In case of incident or accident, the employee shall, together with nearest manager fill out this form: Report and investigate incidents or accidents. The investigation will be done by nearest manager together with the employee, if needed, HR Manager shall be involved. After the investigation is made we will take necessary precautions to prevent that it happens again.
