With GDPR comes new restrictions of what we’re allowed to do when processing personal data i.e. member data. This will affect how we work with some of our external providers, such as Hubspot, SnapEngage and Kundo (any external provider where we upload or aggregate personal data).
There are some crucial changes from the current Swedish law and GDPR which will affect the work of EMG’s communication teams. These are:
A members right to be “forgotten” (completely deleted).
A members right to see all data the controller (EMG) is processing.
The right to data portability (export of all data we store on a member).
To meet these requirements we’ve developed the memberlogin to enable users to see and retrieve the data we process on them. Here you find the documentation of the work processes where member data can be involved. Due to GDPR we've made some changes to the processes.
Please make sure to read it through and spread the knowledge in your team.
