Grade 6 Music will provide a comprehensive music education for students, allowing them to experience active music making through the use of song, instruments, and movement. Students are building on the skills they developed in 5th grade and will continue diving deeper into deeper understanding of music through history, theory, and music from different cultures. Students will be developing their creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills as they explore a variety of musical themes. Students will be expected to learn music from other countries, perform traditional Korean music, and develop the ability create music from household objects.
