Welcome to 6th Grade Math. This year will be an exciting year where we will continue building on what students learned in 5th grade and build construct further understanding and skills. We will be covering an introduction to algebra, proportional relationships, geometry, probability and statistics. It is a foundational math course that will provide students the core math skills needed to progress further in the field of mathematics. A focus will be put on the application and uses of the mathematical skills learned and how they related to real life. The skills learned in middle school are essential to carry students through high school and beyond.
