‼️ Stay up to date with the September 2025 Chapters Brief!
It's May! Where the heck did the first quarter of the year go?
On a personal and extremely vulnerable note, I've been reflecting on what this community means to me. You have no idea how grateful I am for you all. I've learned recently the term 'adult orphan.' Obviously an adult without parents. I am awfully young to be experiencing that. I also don't have children nor do I have a partner. My concept of a 'nuclear family' is really striking me at the moment. What I am realizing is that we all walk around with this subconscious feeling of support from our nuclear families. I am also reminded of the power of community also giving us a similar feeling. I feel incredible supported and held by many of you. My hope is you too can can feel held and supported by myself of others in this community. We are doing incredible work for the world of work, but also for our souls. Thanks so much for being on this journey with us. Thank you all for your time, talent and energy for what you bring to our community. I see you. I appreciate you!
With love,
Jessie J

Event Idea!
Co-Host 'Beyond Culture First Global 2024' with Your Chapter
Looking for a simple way to connect with your community?
The global chapter events mentioned above are able to be co-hosted. You can co-host these on Bevy which would then invite your community members to the event.
Go a step further and meet 15 - 30 minutes before (of after the event) to create a more intimate connection with your community members.
Event Idea! Host an "HR Wellbeing Check-Up"
It's Mental Health Awareness Month in the States and you'll see a lot of inspo for that in mind for the community.
Last year, Culture Amp created a dopy assessment for people to check-in on their wellbeing. It then offers really practical tools and actions people can take to better take care of themselves.
We even created a facilitation guide that you can easily use to run with your own chapter.
Facilitation Idea -- "I Belong"
Our Dubai chapter lead, Hannah Siddiqui, incorporated an activity to engage the audience in a short introduction to the community, which was such a success and has prompted the hashtag #ibelong! This is definitely one for the CF community to add to the ice breaker repertoire!
Activity Instructions:
Start by requesting audience to engage with statements being read out and if they identify with the statement (want to affirm it, affiliate with it) then direct them to raise their hand and call out “I belong”
Start with a couple of fun ones to warm up the crowd ( Hannah did - I’m a middle child, I can parallel park, I love to sing)
Once they get the hang of it, you can say the community values - (I believe a better world of work is possible, I want to bring back humanity to my workplace, I believe in the power of community etc.) Doing around 4 - 6 is good. The audience gets tired of raising their hands after 3).
Add Your Community Members on LinkedIn!
I know it can be frustrating that you can't access your community member's emails due to compliance reasons. I wish that weren't the case. What's important is being able to connect with your community members outside of just the emails through Bevy. We recommend connecting with them on LinkedIn or even getting on a texting basis with them. But to connect with LinkedIn, we've made a shift to make this easier. Now when people register for your events, there is an option to add their LinkedIn URLs.
Here is how to access those URLs so you can connect with them directly:
> Login to Bevy Dashboard
> Click on an event
> Click on 'forms' at the top
> Click on 'Pre-order'
> You'll then be able to see a list of them
Calculating the ROI on Culture
Culture Amp commissioned Forrester Consulting to conduct a Total Economic Impact™ (TEI) study and examine the potential return on investment (ROI) enterprises may realize by deploying Culture Amp. The purpose of this study is to provide readers with a framework to evaluate the potential financial impact of Culture Amp on their organizations.
